The first lobby where players could play each other over the internet was on [[bullfrog]]'s official site. The lobby consisted of a graphical display of several huts, all different sizes and a chatbox. Unfortunely the site was shut down by EA and never seen again. Most people began to play using the [[Populous Reincarnated]] [[matchmaker]] and still do now.
