Balloons are a form of transportation in Populous. They are more effective than boats in traveling and take less wood stocks but they can only support 2 units.
Uses for a Balloon
- It is very useful if your shaman is in a balloon as she can move faster and has a larger spell range.
- It supports all units of your tribe.
- Enemy balloons can be captured by any follower.
- Units can also travel above water with balloons.
- Spies can change their balloon colour so it looks like your enemy's balloons.
