How to record populous
Populous can be recorded using software called Fraps, however this only works with D3DPopTB.exe and D3DPopTBUW.exe.
With fraps, the resulting file format is avi, which would need to be encoded ( to wmv for example) using a seperate piece of software. This will dramatically reduce the file size (over 100 times smaller), resulting in a file which is ideal for uploading to a webserver.
For further editing effects, windows movie maker or a similiar piece of software can then be used.
However, recording full games would require alot of space. In this case i would suggest using screenshots to make a video instead.
