There are 2 types of world in populous:
World: the various levels the game is played on, wheter it be offline or online, more colloquially called 'the globe'
World: Earth, with various timezones and regions, contributing there players to the community.
the world is roughly devided in the following regions:
Asia (includes Australia, Hongkong, Japan, Guam and India)
Europe (includes The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, France, Portugal, Turkey, Poland and Moldova)
America's (includes Canada, USA and Brazil)
