Balloons are a form of transportation in Populous. They are more effective than boats in traveling and take less wood stocks but they can only support 2 units.
Uses for a Balloon
Balloons are a result of what we call "cheap" forms of transport, but as was stated in a predeccesor to this article, they cost more than 53 Volcanoes, and are the "French Resistance's" response to cheap carrier Pigeons. One is enough to kill off 3 tribes. And if you look closely, they make Beer.
How do you get them?
Press Alt+F4 ingame and then send your Braves into a Boat hut.
How to get Uber Balloons
Type in "Byrne" and then press Alt + F4 in a Multiplayer game.
These Balloons do tonnes more damage, and can create land.
