Palette Editor, Version 2.0

The Populous Palette Editor is a freeware utility created by TedTycoon that displays and edits the 256 colours that are in the Populous palette files. The colours are displayed in a grid so that they can easily be changed using a colour dialog or editing the RGB or HSL values. The utillity is mostly used for creating mods.

History

The tool was orginally made to help Populous Reincarnated create mods more easily. It was upgraded twice to include new features including a Replace Colour Dialog and a Tribe Customize Dialog. In summer 2007, the tool was remade in .NET Framework so that it could run on newer operating systems without any problems.

The lastest version of the Palette Editor can be found at its official site.[1]
