The Beginning
Once upon a time in the year 1999 a young stallion by the name of Chris tactfully persuaded his mother to buy him a computer game whilst shopping in Macro. The computer game was called Populous: The Beginning - he had had a taster of the game with the PlayStation demo and full version which he rented out several times.
Chris tried to play the game online against other real players, but was disappointed as the three or four times he tried he was either lacking in technical prowess in figuring out what to download/install etc, or unable to play as the server was down. Despite thinking he was god, he was never shunned at this stage as didn't realise that most people could get past level 5 without using the BYRNE codes.
Populous: Reincarnated
Five years later in Autumn 2004 Chris dug up populous again, and managed to get to level 15 without any cheats! He promptly googled his oldest favourite game in search of modifications/sequels/add-ons, and thus discovered Populous: Reincarnated.
Chris played his first online game as _hundredth_reason (underscore prefix - temporary server) in October of that year. He used the same name for his first (and only) account which was created on the 8th November.
Dragon Team
Early in the new year, hundredth_reason was invited to join the Dragon Team clan as a Dragon Team Junior (DTj) after a 3v1 game with clan trainer Keith52. Hundredth_reason gladly accepted, and spent a lengthy period training with Keith until he was finally inducted as a senior member in April 2005. He was rewarded with the _DT tag, and proceeded to shorten his name to Hundredth (investing in a capital H too).
Establishment
Hundredth_DT went on to establish himself in both the Populous: Reincarnated and (smaller) Dragon Team communities as an active player and forumager. He was gradually improving, and began to learn from the other more experienced players such as Ada1054, Playmakers and clan mates such as the aforementioned Keith52, F5-Twister and Sub Zero. Although somewhat disturbed by the kinky advances sent to him via PM on the Dragon Team forums, Hundredth had found a friend in Sub Zero. He admired his ballsy pisstake attitude concerning the clan, and they eventually went on to create a clan of their own:
Åsgard
Dragon Team was falling apart, and Hundredth was greatly discouraged by a large number of the new recruits (mostly the remnants of clans such as GM, T2K and Rw) and how they were given the tag with a blink of an eye, whereas he had to wait four months for his. Hundredth began to subtract himself from the DT mainstream, and in June 2005 suggested to Sub Zero that they form a seperation from DT, taking what decent members they could and making a new revolutionary Populous clan. Åsgard was founded later that month, which Hundredth still remains a part of today. In March 2007 he was elected clan leader, and contributes as part of the clan's High Council.
Gameplay
Hundredth plays pretty balls the majority of the time. He especially thinks Face Off is a bag of shit, and is concerned with the way Dead Sea is being ruined with new playing styles popularised by the likes of Stig Arild and Ragnj. (Training 10 warriors in the first minute, building 5 warrior huts and not building any huts). His favourite original map is Pressure Point, and has had many epic battles on it. He also enjoys Craters, is placid about Two On Two and has recently taken a liking to Eye of the Storm after being introduced to it by clan mate Salty.
New Worlds
Hundredth has enjoyed New Worlds maps ever since playing the original Fate Worlds 1.0 (where you had a shitload of everything) in his early days as a Populous player. He once played a monster of a game on everyone's favourite A Narrow Passage - allying clan mate NanoSaurus against clan mate Koen and former clan mate PhiL. This game lasted over 3 hours, and is the longest Hundredth has ever played.
In the Summer of 2006 Hundredth gradually began learning to make his own maps with the help of long time friend (since DTj days) and (yes, another) clan mate SewerAssassin. Together they constructed nearly 20 maps based on their own ideas aswell as original concepts contributed by the rest of the clan. 16 of these these maps make up Åsgard's first mappack: Åsgard Worlds.
Overview
Hundredth (along with other DT members such as MentiX and Scorpio, who also went on to join Åsgard) gradually popularised the 'smackhead' term coined by Sub Zero in Spring 2004 to describe the new Dragon Team recruits in Spring 2004. In conjunction with this distaste for the majority of the community, Hundredth went on to develop a lengthy blocklist..
< He adopted a 'no BS' attitude and frequently blocked and kicked anyone who quit/complained about strategy/threatened violence over tactics in his games. This achieved him a rather infamous stature in the Populous: Reincarnated community, and three (yes THREE!) whole threads dedicated to him. In light of the latter Hundredth went on to create his celebrity pisstake signature, which he still uses on the Pop:Re forums today.[[Image:signature[1].gif|thumb|395px|right|Hundredth's signature.]]
In 2007 Hundredth has detoxed from the block button, partly due to his old adversaries (Kidd, BlackCondor, Carnificin etc) retiring from the game, and partly due to his new decisions to try not to hold grudges and eat five fruit and vegetables a day (and do as much hard drugs as possible). However a few names still cause Hundredth grief, and he cannot avoid blocking them! (Jonny, FireballKid Shaman etc).
As well as the aforementioned Åsgard Worlds mappack, Hundredth also contributes to the community and the Åsgard clan with the website which he created and regularly maintains.
For a brief period in early 2006 Hundredth was a part of 'Team Cake', which was a name coined from mixing clan mate R0fflca3k's common nickname - 'Cakes', with their chosen individual team names: Hundredth and Thousandth (as in Hundreds and Thousands). However Hundredth is most commonly found allying clan mate and Åsgard co-leader Boyd in 2v2 games, and has done since Boyd joined Åsgard in November 2005. However they're not really seen as an 'official' team, because a lot of the time they lose too much to make anything of it!
