Multiplayer

Most of the populous community play populous with each other using an online matchmaker. The first lobby where players could play each other over the internet was on bullfrog's official site. The lobby consisted of a graphical display of several huts, all different sizes and a chatbox. Unfortunely the site was shut down by EA and never seen again. Most people began to play using the Populous Reincarnated matchmaker and still do now.
