Linked isles is a three player map that's very similar to the single player level Building Bridges. It is found in the Map pack 'The Beginning'. Although this is a 3 player map, one can also do a 2 player version.
On Linked Isles, there are 3 obelisks. One is in blue's area, another in red's and the final is in yellow's. The one in blue's area contains Magical Shield, red's contains Boat Hut and yellow's contains Invisibility.
There is also a Stone Head on each player's land. This contains mana and takes 6 followers to worship.

Strategy
It is a good idea to get these bonuses early on as one can then weaken their enemy with abilities that they do not yet have.
Another good strategy plan is to 'steal' the opponent's obelisk bonus, thus rendering their 'special ability' useless if you can counteract it.
If you worship the Stone Head as soon as you can, you will be put in a strong advantage, as the other players will probably not worship it so early on in the game.
