Burn was a spell used in the Populous: The Beginning alpha version, this spelled allowed the player to burn trees without explosive power (ex. burns the enemy trees). Later on in the development Bullfrog Productions decided it was best to burn trees with spies. That's the death of the spell "Burn". The spell is still available to use in single player but modifications will need to be made in order for this to happen.
