Mode : Singleplayer |
Players : 2 |
Stone Heads : 1 |
Vault of Knowledges : 1 |
Alliances : N/A |
Difficulty : Beginner |
This is the third level in Populous, where the player faces the Chumara tribe for the first time in Single Player.
Starting Speech
"I have had a disturbing vision. The Chumara Tribe turned my own Followers against me when I attacked! I must find a way to reach their Vault of Knowledge and learn how to use this power against them."
Setting
The blue tribe starts on a large tropical island separated from the Chumara tribe by huge hills. The Totem Pole casts an Erode spell on the far end of the mountain making a safe path to the Vault of Knowledge which grants access to the Temple building.
Enemy tribes: Chumara
Worship Objects:
Item | Shots | Spell/Effect | Follower Count |
Totem Pole | Erode | 1 | |
Vault of Knowledge | Temple |
Strategy
A basic strategy is to send the shaman to the Totem Pole which lowers the mountain for her to pass through and worship the Vault of Knowledge. Meanwhile, building as many huts as possible as well as a Warrior Training Hut. When the Temple plan is available building it and training several preachers and warriors is recomended. Then, attacking the enemy tribe using the army and Blasts can finish the Chumara.
This level can easily be completed without Preachers by building about 5 Huts and a Warrior Training Hut, then training roughly 5-7 Warriors in order to send them into the enemy base along with the Shaman. Blasting the Preacher guarding the base to kill him and finishing the enemy Shaman while destroying the Temple will leave the enemy with few braves that can be easily eliminated.
Rushing
It is possible to rush by gathering all your starting followers, and rush the enemy. Killing their shaman as quickly as possible with blasts to ensure she does not convert too many wildmen can make the player achieve instant victory with no building required.
